Kobe Bryant Car Auction: Black Mamba’s Pimped Lowrider 1963 Chevrolet Impala Starts At $100 Grand

Kobe Bryant has placed a fully rebuilt 1963 Chevrolet Impala which was a gift for his wife for auction on Ebay. The starting price is pegged at 100,000$.

The classic Impala is just as big as Kobe's personality but it's not even his. The car was a Christmas gift from West Coast Customs for his wife, Vanessa(according to ebay).

The Lakers superstar recently had the Impala redone and now he has posted it on ebay. The winning buyer will have Kobe's registration and insurance card so you can brag that you bought Kobe's pimped out ride.

The car was recently featured in Lowrider Magazine. West Coast Customs was the original inspiration for MTV's "Pimp My Ride" series, so expect the best from this one. In the feature, it was already mentioned that the car will be placed in someone's Christmas Tree, but the identity of the lucky recipient was not revealed.

The Classic Car make features a powerful V8 engine, customized 13-inch wheels, white leather seats which were laced with crystals, custom sound system and complete hydraulics. Even the paint job was fir for the Lakers star: the custom paint job is a blend of "House of Kolor Purple" and royal blue - fit for a king.

Meanwhile, Kobe Bryant continues his rehabilitation for a broken Achilles heel. The Lakers continue to build their lineup anticipating that Kobe will take some time to recover. His initial estimate that he can make it "to training camp" has been moved to "opening day" to a more realistic "late December." Even if he can't play, he will still be active in a leadership role for the Lakers.
