Dave Chappelle Show Down With Hartford Mayor After Comedian Responds To Hecklers; 'Quit Whinning' Said The Politician

After Dave Chappelle dissed the Hartford hecklers during a show in Chicago, the mayor of the Connecticut city is fight back.




Mayor Pedro Segarra went to Twitter Thursday morning to tell Chappelle to cut the complaining.




"Dave Chappelle should quit whining, do his job and try some yoga," the the politician with the hashtag #HartfordHasIt.






His statement was most likely in regard to Chappelle wishing North Korea would demolish the "young, white alcoholic" heckling crowd of Hartford.

"I don't want anything bad to happen to the United States," Chappelle said ... "but if North Korea ever drops a nuclear bomb on this country, I swear to God I hope it lands in Hartford, Connecticut."

"I wanted to pull a reverse Kramer and call them all crackers or something crazy like that," added Chappelle, referencing the 2006 incident where Michael Richards went on a N-bomb tirade the Laugh Factory.

Chappelle concluded with suggesting that Hartford was lucky he didn't go buck wild by saying, "That s**t's like being at a f**king tiger show the night Sigfried and Roy got their throats bit out by the tiger ... you don't go to see somebody be safe."

Mayor Segarra additionally expressed his disgust for Chappelle's comments when talking exclusively with TMZ.





"His recent remarks were immature and inappropriate," Segarra tells TMZ ... adding, "[He] should stick to his job, give the fans what they paid for and not disparage the good people of Hartford."
