Russell Brand's jokes about Hugo Boss and the Nazis didn't go over so well this week when accepting an award at the GQ Men of the Year Awards.

After receiving the Oracle of the Year, Brand shocked the audience during his acceptance speech when joking about the awards sponsors Hugo Boss manufacturing uniforms for the German army during WWII.

"If any of you know a little bit about history and fashion, you'll know it was Hugo Boss (who) made the uniforms for the Nazis," he said to a gasping crowd. "The Nazis did have flaws, but they did look f**king fantastic, let's face it, while they were killing people on the basis of their religion and sexuality!"

If that wasn't enough, in mid speech Brand placed his finger under his nose in reference to Adolf Hilter's infamous mustache.

The British comic continued with, "I'm a comedian and it's my job to make jokes about things. Hugo Boss, it's fair enough, he might not have known! 'We're selling a lot of these f**king (uniforms), they're flying off the shelves!' Don't take life too seriously, soon we'll all be in the grave. Oh f**k!"

As result, the "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" star was kicked out of the after party amongst all his famous associates.

Although Brand didn't confirm being ejected out of the party, he did suggest some type of dispute between him and GQ editor Dylan Jones via Twitter.
