Simon Cowell's Baby Boy Won't Get Any Of His Fathers Multi-Million Dollar Fortune; 'I Don't Believe In Passing On From One Generation To Another,' He Said

Despite Simone Cowell being worth millions, the music mogul isn't planning to leave behind a dime for his baby boy due to his beliefs.

In an interview with Esquire the "X-Factor" boss revealed that he had no plans on leaving his monetary possessions to his unborn child he shares with Laura Silverman.

”I don’t believe in passing on from one generation to another,” he said. “Your legacy has to be that hopefully you gave enough people an opportunity, so that they could do well, and you gave them your time, taught them what you know.”

In actuality, Cowell much rather leave his millions to world, specially charities.

”I’m going to leave my money to somebody. A charity, probably kids and dogs," he said.

The 53-year-old mogul is a long-time supporter of finding homes for stray dogs. He has donated £10,000 to help set up a dog sanctuary in Barbados and £100,000 to another shelter in Toluca Lake, California. Additionally he is planning on adopting two puppies in the near future.

If Cowell wanted to retire today, he could. However, despite having a baby on the way, the tycoon doesn't plan to stop working anytime soon.

”A lot of people who retire, they hate their job so much, they just love the idea of not working any more. That horrifies me. I’m going to be still working in my 80s or 90s.”
