'Robocop' Remake Trailer YouTube Receives Mixed Reviews Via Twitter: Some Can't Wait To See It While Others Call It An 'Easy Money' Movie

After the YouTube trailer for the remake of 'Robocop' launched, some are so enthused to see it while others predict it will be an 'easy money' movie that's nothing like the classic.

José Padilha's remake of the classic 80's film has a star studded cast that is leaving a lot of people filled with anticipation and curiosity. The movie will include talents like Joel Kinnaman as Robocop Alex Murphy, Michael Keaton as villain Ronny Cox, Gary Oldman as the crazy scientist Dr. Dennett Norton, and "The Avengers" very own Samuel L. Jackson as media mogul Pat Novak.

"Newsroom" actress Olivia Munn seems stoked to see the movie as she tweeted the classic line, "Dead or alive, you're coming with me."

Infamous video game designer Cliff Bleszinski coins the remake of "Robocop" as "promising."

Then there are those like The Guardian's Ben Child, who are a bit sketchy about the film.

"Joel Kinnaman, as cop Alex Murphy, is not actually dead when he becomes Robocop," Still points out in an opinion piece.

Along with changing up the storyline, GQ Magazine editor Nate Erikson earlier bad mouthed the remake for not being filmed in the original setting of Detroit, Michigan.

In addition, Visual and User Interface designer Max Rudberg is accusing the remake as a rushed film just to make a buck.

"First trailer for the new Easy Money movie. No. I mean Robocop," he tweeted.

Canadian musician Jim Guthrie and others suggested "Robocop" should've probably been left in the 80's where it reined.
