Pokemon X and Y will land next month, and Pokemon Smash is set to air an X/Y Special featuring Junichi Masuda on September 15 to update fans on Mega Evolution and anime news.

As reported by Pokejungle, the Special will likely reveal even more Mega Evolution Pokemon, along with an update on the Pokemon X and Y anime.

The Pokemon X and Y anime will begin airing October 17, five days after the release of the game.

Meanwhile, can you guess what other Pokemon will get the Mega Evolution treatment? The most recent update has shown the Kantos starters getting Mega Evolution forms.

As many sources point out, the Pokemon X and Y news Masuda will discuss will likely be already revealed in CoroCoro, which is set to leak early next week.

After the Shiny Dialga event, the Shiny Palkia distribution event will begin on Monday. This is a great event to hype up Pokemon X and Y.
