Singer IU posted a message on her official fan page to thank and celebrate her 5th anniversary since debut.

She stated, "Thanks to everyone that stuck by me for the past 5 years. Time really does fly by. I am now finished with my preparations for my new album so keep a look out for it!"

She continued, "I was finally able to a have a good sleep this holiday. I will be reading all your letters as I eat yummy snacks I received as a gift from my agency."

"I can't believe its already been 5 years since my debut! It is going to be 6 years before you know it. Thanks to everyone! I will continue to update again soon!"

IU will be making a comeback this October.
