If you are on the lookout for upcoming Samsung phones for 2013, you may want to hold out a little longer. According to GSM Arena, several Samsung executives stated that the company is planning to release a smartphone with a curved display in October.

For years, Samsung has teased the industry with its curved display development which it often showcases during recent CES events. And now we will finally see how it looks in a real smartphone, and whether the technology works as good as it looks in every day usage. 

Some tech blogs reported recently that Samsung has been filing for patents for a smartphone with curved vertical axis, which means it wants to own this particular technology. 

Unfortunately, the executives did not mention any other details regarding the smartphone. But with October just around the corner, we will definitely hear from them soon.
