Batman Vs Superman Cast Rumors; Wonder Woman In The Mix? DC Calls For “Strong Woman;” Prospects Include Russian Actress From ‘Die Hard’ Sequel

Speculation fills the rumor mill as DC has casting calls for "woman aged 25-33, physically strong." Is this for a Wonder Woman role? Prospects have been suggested, including Yuliya Snigir, the Russian actress from "A Good Day to Die Hard."

A casting call has been leaked through talent agencies, according to Bleedingcool.com. The studio has been very secretive about it, but apparently it's for the "Man of Steel" sequel, tentatively titled "Batman Vs Superman."

The full report from Brendan Connelly: "The casting calls going out for Warner Bros. next Superman movie are quite brilliantly vague. I've learned today that they're looking for a new female lead, but the information they're giving is incredibly light.

I can tell you that she'll be somewhere between twenty five and thirty three - or at least leave the impression of a woman in that age range, whatever that might be.

I can tell you that she needs to be physically strong. They're specific about that."

It's possible, however, that it might be for the villain role. Since there are two featured heroes, we can choose from the Rogue's Gallery of both Batman and Superman. However, it must be considered that Batman, for this film portrayed by Ben Affleck, is already "tired and weary." Thus, his adversaries won't be spring chickens as well.

In contrast, Superman and possibly Wonder Woman are immune to aging. It is possible to cast young actors and actresses for the role. One prospect rumored was Yuliya Snigir. Her most notable appearance was in "A Good Day to Die Hard" opposite Bruce Willis and Jai Courtney.
