Snoop Dogg Son, Cordell Broadus have set tongues wagging as he voiced his opinion via 247 Sport that 'I feel that he should have been fired a while ago and USC is going to raise the bar now because the new coaching staff next year and I'm anxious to see what they are going to look like', following the announcement that USC's Trojan coach Lane Kiffin has been fired on Sunday morning.

The Official USC Trojan website announced that Kiffin has been informed of his termination, following the arrival of the team charter back from Los Angeles. Early Sunday, Athletic Director Pat Haden announced early Sunday that USC's coach, Lane Kiffin has been fired, LA Times reported. According to Yahoo, Kiffin has been relieved of his duties as coach of USC, after USC lost to 62-41 score with Arizona State.It was early Sunday when USC's Athletic Director Pat Haden announced this decision, hours after the said lost.

Kiffin has been USC's coach since 2010, compiled a 28-15 record at USC with 2011 as his best season when the Trojans finished at 10-2. However, this does not show a stellar record. It was noted that some of the most severe penalties in football history was imposed on the Trojans since Kiffin was hired. This involved former Trojans running back Reggie Bush, which included a three-year loss of 30 scholarships and a two-year bowl ban, says LA Times.

Furthermore, Haden recently appealed to NCAA to restore some of the scholarship grants, but the request was denied. The timing of firing has ramifications, as top South California prospects announced their concern regarding Kiffin's status.

E! reports that Kiffin was the very first coach to be dismissed in the middle of the season. Longtime assistant coach, Ed Orgeron is now serving as the interim coach. The school is still working on a permanent replacement. Orgeron left USC to become head coach at Mississippi in 2005. He says that his stint at Mississippi taught him a lot and thus, he is ready to be USC's interim coach.
