iPhone 5S, 5C Release Date: New Zealand May Get New iPhones As Late As November Due To 'Record Demand'

The iPhone 5S is the best smartphone Apple has developed, but consumers in other parts of the world have yet to experience what the phone and iOS 7 have to offer. For instance, the iPhone 5S, 5C release date in New Zealand is still uncertain until now.

While the Cupertino manufacturer has been successful in selling their iPhones over the past couple of weeks, it has come to everyone's attention that the company's supplies for manufacturing the iPhone 5S are running low, mainly due to the fingerprint sensor.

In a blog by The Next Web contributor Owen Williams, the two new iPhones would not launch in New Zealand for the next couple of months "due to record demand", that is according to a "good source inside a major company".

To make things worse, Williams also indicated that the iPhone 5C may cost more than expected.

Apple's new iPhones were launched in 20 countries initially including the US, UK, China and Australia. New Zealand was once part of this initial shipments, but low consumer demand and interest may have pushed the shipment dates even further.

According to Williams, the iPhones would be available for pre-order by mid-October, but stocks would not be available until November.
