Upcoming Android Tablets 2013: Dell Unveils Venue 7 And 8, Retail Prices Start At $149

There are lots of upcoming Android tablets in 2013 and even before the year ends, manufacturers are still giving their all to get a share of the Android pie. Dell is next in line with two entry-level tablets - the Venue 7 and Venue 8, as it announced in its press event in New York City.

As siblings to the Windows 8.1-powered Venue Pro 8 and Venue Pro 11, the two Android tablets are aimed at users who are getting their first-ever Android-powered devices.

According to Engadget, the Venue 7 will pack a 7-inch screen while the Venue 8 will feature an 8-inch display. Both tablets will pack 1280 x 800p resolution, a dual-core Intel Z2580 processor, Wi-Fi and 4G support.

The smaller tablet will get 16GB of internal memory while the 8-incher will have either 16GB or 32GB. Fortunately, both devices would have microSD support for storage expansion.

Dell's Venue 7 will retail at about $150 while Venue 8 is priced at $180. Both devices would hit the stores on October 18th.
