Warcraft Movie Release Date Set In December 2015, Will Combine Both Live Action And CGI

If you are one of the millions of Blizzard fans who have been waiting for a movie adaptation for its most popular title, then this is definitely great news. Legendary Entertainment, together with Universal Studios have set the official Warcraft movie release date on December 18, 2015.

It may still be over two years from now, but reports say filming will start as early as next month. Duncan Jones, from Moon and Source Code, will take over directing chores as well as some screenplay work with Charles Leavitt, from Blood Diamond, and K-PAX.

Much to our delight, Chris Metzen of Blizzard Entertainment will be one of the co-producers for the said film. Metzen was the creator of the company's most famous titles such as Warcraft, Starcraft, and Diablo

As a game title known for its stunning CG, Warcraft would definitely make the best visuals as much as possible, with Jones bringing in his specialty to the table.

All gaming fans would surely watch out for this film adaptation of probably one of the world's biggest games in history.
