After Louis Tomlinson was late to a One Direction appearance and had an onstage voice cracking incident, can it be assumed that he is stressed by rumored engagement plans?

Recently, the bandmate was late to a One Direction soundcheck in Australia due to a delay flight from Fiji. Additionally, Tomlinson missed a meet and greet that included greeting a girl who was apart of the Make A Wish Foundation.

One Direction update accounts filled the fans in on Tomlinson's delayed flight.

"Apparently Louis is stuck on plane from Fiji, that's why he wasn't at soundcheck today," read on account, according to Cambio.

Other sites announced that the entire One Direction concert was delayed due to Tomlinson's tardiness.

With no reasoning for his late arrival, Tomlinson tweeted after the show, "Great show again today!! Loveeee."

To make matters worse, Tomlinson's vocals have not been the best lately.

Over the weekend the One Direction crooner tweeted, "Lost my voice."

So what is the cause of Tomlinson's recent rough times? Is it the possibility of a future engagement to his girlfriend Eleanor Calder?

“Louis and Eleanor are already practically engaged, really," said an insider to Daily Star. "They’ve always been very open when it comes to talking about marriage, and often discuss what kind of wedding they’ll have. Now that Zayn [Malik] and Perrie [Edwards] have got engaged, it’s naturally cropped up even more."

Allegedly, Tomlinson is planning to pop the question on their second year anniversary.

“Louis thinks it’s time to make it official. In November, it’ll be two years since they fell in love, and he’s told pals he thinks it’d be a perfect time to properly ask her to marry him," said the friend. "He really wants her to know just how important she is to him.”
