Cheap Android Tablets: Start-Up Tablet Maker Sells 35k Units In Two Days

If you are looking for cheap Android tablets in 2013, you may want to check out Tesco's Hudl tablet, but you may need to wait for a while as its initial stocks have already sold out.

In a tweet by Jennifer Creevy, Telco's CEO Phil Clarke that the company has already sold over 35,000 units of Hudl tablet two days after it was released.

Of course, this is nothing compared to iPad's standards, but considering the company is a startup in this particular niche in the industry, it is a major feat.

In fact, taking from the announcement that stocks would be limited by next week, Telco itself may have been surprised with the huge success of its entry-level tablets.

The Telco Hudle tablet is priced at £119 or about $190 in retail stores, but a promo can reduce the price to below £100.

Google has had its share of success in the entry-level tablet market with its Nexus line.
