Power Rangers Megaforce To Broadcast In Europe, Australia, Asia, And Africa: Saban Extends Partnerships With Nickelodeon And Bandai American Through 2016

The long-running Power Rangers franchise will continue with Megaforce thanks to a new deal between Saban, Nickelodeon, and Bandai.

"Our partnership with Nickelodeon has been instrumental in maintaining the popularity of the Power Rangers brand and introducing the series to a new generation of kids," says Elie Dekel, President of Saban Brands in an official press release.

"Furthermore, our Power Rangers partnership with Bandai has remained strong throughout the past two decades as they continue to develop new products that kids love around the world. We are thrilled to extend the agreements with both Bandai and Nickelodeon, and look forward to continuing these strong partnerships for years to come."

The agreements between Saban, Nickelodeon, and Bandai America Incorporated will extend until 2016.

Currently, Power Rangers Megaforce, the 20th anniversary season airs on Nickelodeon on Saturday at 1:00 pm EST. A subsequent season called Power Rangers Super Megaforce, will premiere in early 2014.

And now, it looks like Power Rangers Megaforce will reach even more Power Rangers fans across the globe.

According to Kidscreen, UK's Channel 5 has acquired Power Rangers Megaforce. In addition, licensing agreement has been inked with broadcast partners in Europe, Australia, Asia and Africa.

So, in the near future, fans can check out Power Rangers Megaforce on Mediaset's Italia 1 and Boing (Italy), Club RTL (Belgium and Luxemburg), Australia's Channel 9, Nickelodeon India, MBC (Middle East), and ETV in Africa.
