"The Vampire Diaries" season 5 premiere is tonight, and Candice Accola, who plays Caroline Forbes on "The Vampire Diaries," dished some new spoilers about what is to come season 5 and in the premiere. So is Caroline Team Stefan or Team Damon?

Candice Accola opened up to Hollywood Life about "The Vampire Diaries" season 5, and about Elena's relationship with Damon and Stefan.

"How will she help her best friend through all her boy drama this season?" Hollywood Life asked Candice.

"Caroline's going to be there in the only fashion she knows how, which is with open arms and very strong opinions," Candice said.

Hollywood Life said, "I know Stefan's at the bottom of a lake, but when he comes back, do you think Caroline will still want him with Elena?"

"Oh, yes," Candice replied. "Caroline is very much still Team Stefan."

Sorry, Damon!

But despite Caroline's favoritism, Candice said in season 5 we will learn a lot more about Damon.

"The viewers will have to wait for it a little bit, but I'm really excited for Damon's storyline," Candice dished. "As the season goes on, you're going to learn more about his history as a vampire, which is going to connect a lot of dots together. I'm really excited about that."

"Will it change the way we think of Damon?" Hollywood Life asked.

"I think it's just a curve ball, a really great story. You're going to be like, 'Oh my God. How are they going to play this out? I had no idea. This explains so much!," Accola said.

What about Caroline's own love life?

"We will see Tyler at some point as the series goes on, and the viewers are just going to have to watch and see when that happens," Candice said, not wanting to give away too much in her spoiler teasers. "I have a feeling that Caroline is going to be really really happy, or really really mad."

And what about Jesse, a new handsome college boy that Caroline befriends?

"Ah, yes. We're going to meet Jesse; he's a good looking member of the opposite sex, who happens to take a liking to Caroline," Candice said. "But Caroline's not very interested. She's still focused on being with Tyler."
