Owners of Samsung Galaxy S4 can now install Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update.

The test firmware for Android 4.3 Jelly Bean applicable for Samsung Galaxy S4 with model number GT-19505 is now available. Thanks to the folks over at SamMobile, the pre-release build is now available for download and installation. The official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware is expected to arrive at some point in October or November.

As posted by Into Mobile, the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update test firmware does not only bring the latest iteration of Google mobile OS to Samsung Galaxy S4 but it also offers some software features that are found on the Galaxy Note 3.

The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware is intended for the European models of the Samsung Galaxy S4, particularly with model number GT-I9505. However, it should be noted that the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean test firmware still contains bugs and issues.

Reportedly, the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean test firmware offers huge improvement to the performance of the Samsung Galaxy S4, including features such as the Samsung Wallet and Samsung Knox. Moreover, Reading Mode is also featured on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, which enhances the screen to read easier on the Samsung Galaxy S4.

A portion of the post from SamMobile about the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean test firmware reads, "Most of the changes are under the hood, except a few minor UI changes here and there. Now the most interesting part, this firmware has improved colour reproduction of the display quite a bit and the text looks even sharper than before."
