Michael Jackson Trial Verdict Finds AEG Live Not Liable For Wrongful Death [VIDEO]; Katherine Jackson "Disappointed" But "Not Giving Up All Hope"; Are Appeals Possible In The Civil Lawsuit?

The Michael Jackson verdict came out yesterday in favor of AEG Live, saying that they were not responsible for the wrongful death of Michael Jackson.
The Michael Jackson verdict came as a disappointment to the family of Michael Jackson, including mother Katherine Jackson.  They were suing AEG Live alleging that the promoter had caused the death of Michael Jackson, having hired Dr. Conrad Murray, the doctor who administered the fatal dose of propofol that caused Michael Jackson's deadly drug overdose.
The Lead Plaintiff's lawyer, Brian Panish, gave an interview to the Daily News about the Michael Jackson verdict, saying: She's obviously disappointed, but she's a very strong woman."
"She's been through a lot in life, and she's doing the best she can. She only wants what is best for Michael's children, who are her No. 1 priority."
"There's going to be more to this story. I don't think it's over yet.  We're not giving up all hope yet."
Could the Jackson family appeal the Michael Jackson verdict? Panish "declined to give specifics on how he might file an appeal, but said he believes the wording of the verdict form question that decided the case in AEG's favor was possibly faulty."
Michael Jackson was an entertainer who dealt with a very difficult life, despite selling record-setting numbers of albums and creating classic albums like Thriller.  It came out during the Michael Jackson trial that he had possible doctor-shopped for medication, and that his children Paris and Prince Jackson had witnessed an overdose.
The lead trial lawyer for AEG Live, Marvin Putnam, said on Wednesday that the jury's verdict in the Michael Jackson trial "completely vindicates" AEG Live.
"Although Michael Jackson's death was a terrible tragedy, it was not a tragedy of AEG Live's making."
Dr. Conrad Murray, the doctor hired by AEG Live to treat Jackson who is now serving time for involuntary manslaughter for administering the fatal dose of propofol, said on the Today show about the Michael Jackson verdict: "This was about the Jacksons bringing a lawsuit which I felt from the beginning was frivolous," he said. "They brought a lawsuit that indicated that something was done and a lot of claims that were made were clearly incorrect, and I knew that for a fact.
