"I'm very surprised, especially when our division was picked to be amongst the top," Eagles quarterback Michael Vick told ESPN. "That's football, man. It goes to show you how you have to be on top of your game."

 A loss by the Cowboys would pave the way for the Eagles to tie for the division lead or the Giants to pull within one game of first place even though this first quarter of the season is nowhere near how either team thought it would star.

"Guys know that and coach (Tom Coughlin) brought that up the other day, so we understand," Giants quarterback Eli Manning said. "There's a lot of football left to be played, but we've got to start playing football. We're a better team than what we've been playing like, but we've got to go out there and prove it."
