Miley Cyrus Tweets Sinead O'Connor Is The `Original Amanda Bynes’; Will Miley Tear Up a Picture of Sinead on SNL?

Miley Cyrus is in a Twitter War with Sinead O’Connor.

Sinead O'Connor wrote an open letter penned a note criticizing Miley Cyrus. Sinèad O'Connor is no stranger to controversy. Sinèad O'Connor, who has over 20 years’ experience in the music business, wanted to pass on advice in an open letter to Miley Cyrus. O’Connor was responding to Miley Cyrus’s comments that the music video for her new song “Wrecking Ball” was inspired by the music video Sinèad O’Connor’s cover of Prince's song “Nothing Compares 2 You.”

Miley Cyrus took to Twitter to bash the bald singer. She tweeted "Before Amanda Bynes.... There was....," followed by a link to an image of January 2012 Tweets that are believed to be written by Sinead. Miley also posted a photo of Sinead's infamous SNL appearance in 1992 when she warned that Pope John Paul II was "the real enemy."

Sinèad O'Connor tore up a picture of the Pope on Saturday Night Live in the 90s prompting protests and scandal. Sinèad O'Connor had a few things to say about the Miley Cyrus VMAs 2013 performance and the new music video for Miley Cyrus’s song “Wrecking Ball.”

Miley Cyrus will be hosting and doing musical guest duties tonight on "SNL."

In the letter to Miley Cyrus, Sinèad O'Connor wrote "I am extremely concerned for you that those around you have led you to believe, or encouraged you in your own belief, that it is in any way 'cool' to be naked and licking sledgehammers in your videos. It is in fact the case that you will obscure your talent by allowing yourself to be pimped, whether it's the music business or yourself doing the pimping."
The open letter to Miley Cyrus continued "The music business doesn't give a sh*t about you, or any of us. They will prostitute you for all you are worth, and cleverly make you think its what YOU wanted... and when you end up in rehab as a result of being prostituted, 'they' will be sunning themselves on their yachts in Antigua, which they bought by selling your body and you will find yourself very alone."

Sinèad thinks that Miley Cyrus missed the spirit of the “Nothing Compares 2 You” video. She wrote, "The look I chose, I chose on purpose at a time when my record company were encouraging me to do what you have done. I felt I would rather be judged on my talent and not my looks. I am happy that I made that choice, not least because I do not find myself on the proverbial rag heap now that I am almost 47 yrs of age, which unfortunately many female artists who have based their image around their sexuality, end up on when they reach middle age."

Sinead O'Connor tore up the picture of Pope John Paul II because he was aware of child molestation incidents at an Irish orphanage. This was confirmed in the HBO special documentary, "Mea Maxima Culpa."
