The highly-anticipated TFIOS movie release date is already set for next year.

Fans of the dearly loved novel from John Green, "The Fault In Our Stars" will be delighted to know that TFIOS movie is set to arrive in cinemas on June 6, 2014, as posted on Box Office Mojo. This gives the TFIOS movie a prime summer release date.

As described on a post from Collider.com, the emotional story depicted on The Fault In Our Stars "is told from the point of view of Hazel, a young cancer patient who strikes up a relationship with another cancer-striken teen named Gus in a support group."

The film adaptation of The Fault In Our Stars will be directed by Josh Boone and it will star Shailene Woodley as Hazel and Ansel Elgort as Augustus Waters. Supporting cast included in the TFIOS movie are Nat Wolff, Willem Dafoe, Sam Trammell, Laura Dern,  and Mike Birbiglia.

Meanwhile, the book author, John Green, has been sharing behind-the-scene scoops and constants updates about the "The Fault in our Stars" movie through this Twitter account and his Youtube channel. Green revealed that the cancer support group (which Hazel will be attending at the start of the story) has real teen cancer survivors as the casts.

As posted by Huffington Post, Green said in his latest video, "I want to thank them all for being part of the movie and also for sharing their experiences with us. It's just been awesome to hang out with them."

TFIOS movie release date is currently scheduled to open in theaters on June 6 against the sci-fi action movie of Tom Cruise, "Edge of Tomorrow".
