Celebrity jewelry expert Michael O'Connor talked to E! News for the details on Naya Rivera's engagement ring, and it sounds like Big Sean dropped some big bucks for the ring.

"I would estimate it's 3.5 carats to four, but closer to four carats with a platinum setting. The diamond looks to be in very good quality, of course, so her ring probably retailed at around $70,000," O'Connor told E! News.

"It looks like a princess cut diamond surrounded with a halo setting, which is something that's been trending for the last three to four years. Natalie Portman was one of the first stars to wear this style," O'Connor added.

"It's classic with a modern twist! We're seeing more and more square cuts these days. It's getting a lot more play now, whereas round cuts used to be the most popular a few years ago."

"Glee" star Naya attended Latina magazine's Hollywood Hot List Party in LA on October 3, where she posed on the red carpet, showing off the diamond engagement ring, Hollywood Life reports.

The 26-year-old placed her left hand placed strategically on her hip, allowing the paparazzi to snap pictures of the ring.

Naya Rivera's rep confirmed to Just Jared Thursday that she is engaged to marry Big Sean(otherwise known as Sean Michael Anderson).

Big Sean recently dished in the latest issue of GQ magazine that he watches "Glee" for his girlfriend.

"Yeah, I watch it now, I've definitely caught up on it," the 25-year-old rapper said. "I'm Gleekin' heavy,"

"How could you not, man, if that was your girlfriend, you'd probably be Gleekin' too," he continued. "Some of the episodes are a little much for me, but I like how they touch on real issues that people can really relate to. And people can just relate to something and confide in it. I think it serves a great purpose in society."
