Rumors about iPad Mini 2 release date continue to emerge in the mobile world.

Earlier reports about iPad Mini 2 release date suggested that the upcoming device will arrive on October 15, alongside the iPad 5, during a media event to be held by Apple. However, as the middle of October nears, rumors about the iPad Mini 2 release date are popping up claiming that Apple fans might not be able to see the device on the alleged launch schedule.

Experts already doubt that iPad Mini 2 release date on October 15 will not happen, especially since there is no hint of invitation yet coming from the Cupertino-based tech firm.

Mirror News quoted Rhoda Alexander, an IHS iSuppli analyst who does not believe that iPad Mini 2 release date will not happen this year. As the post reads, "she does not think the iPad mini 2 will be announced this month, but that Apple will delay its release until next year."

Furthermore, Alexander added, "The Retina Mini looks less certain for that time. Manufacturing volumes on that would match better with a [first-quarter 2014] launch."

Meanwhile, Rhoda Alexander believes that unlike iPad Mini 2, the full-sized next-gen iOS tablet, iPad 5, will be introduced soon.

On other news about the iPad Mini 2, it is somehow already expected that the upcoming mini tablet will be in gold or space gray color, since the iPhone 5S also comes with these colors.
