Kingdom Hearts 3 Release Date News: Adult Gameplay? Rumors Suggest Storyline Will Be More Mature

Kingdom Hearts 3 is set to get some serious game-play upgrades - recent reports claim that multiplayer capabilities and tournaments will be included in the next installment, the Latin Times reports.

The game is also rumored to include some natural progression, recognizing how the fans of the game have grown with the series, the Latin Times also reports.

Various rumors are suggesting that Kingdom Hearts 3 will feature multiplayer capabilities and tournaments, leaving gamers wondering how many new specs the game will include.

"We heard talk about multi-player aspects of the game heading to Kingdom Hearts 3 and tournament. This of course could be a natural progression as we have seen multi-player already in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, this was on the Game Boy Advance," Tekrieg.com reports.

"We also saw it on Birth of Sleep, which came out for the PSP. Dream Drop Distance came out for the 3DS too, along with 368.2 days."

Tetsuya Nomura, spearheading the development of Kingdom Hearts 3, revealed that the character models from Dream Drop Distance were modified and reincorporated into the game, leaving users wondering how different it will be from its predecessor.

Kingdom Hearts 3 producer Shinji Hashimoto discussed the series with IGN and spoke about the pressure caused by releasing HD 1.5 Remix and how it is prompting an announcement for the release date of the next game.
