Miley Cyrus Kills Off Hannah Montana on Saturday Night Live; Government Shutdown Blamed on Miley Cyrus VMAs 2013 Performance

Miley Cyrus killed off Hannah Montana last night in her opening "Saturday Night Live" monologue.

Hannah Montana has been on the hit list since the Miley Cyrus VMAs 2013 performance as the singer tries to smash her child-actor image with a “Wrecking Ball.”

"SNL" used Miley Cyrus for some light topical satire, blaming the Miley Cyrus VMAs 2013 performance and the Miley Cyrus twerking craze for the government shutdown. The former Miley Cyrus (Vanessa Bayer) tried to warn the new Miley Cyrus that there would be problems.

Miley Cyrus also played Michele Bachmann to the tune of the Miley Cyrus hit "We Can't Stop" along with John Boehner played by Taran Killam taking the credit for the government shutdown.

Seth Meyers also took on Boehner on his "Weekend Update" segment, calling the majority leader a loser for dealing with “those Tea Party maniacs." Meyers said, "You're like Seinfeld if there were 30 Kramers."

Miley Cyrus also played a wooden but beautiful Scarlett Johansson filming in a screen test for "50 Shades of Grey." Miley Also played a cheerleader dealing with an extraterrestrial, a talkative Lil Teenie and Hillary Clinton in an MTV documentary.

The comedy skits fared better than the Miley Cyrus songs, which were over-reverbed. Miley played "Wrecking Ball" and an acoustic version of her controversial hit "We Can't Stop."

But Miley Cyrus didn’t rip up a picture of Sinead O’Connor. My prediction on that was wrong and I’m sorry I brought it up.
