'Breaking Bad' Season 6 Spoiler: Walter White Gets Obit in Albuquerque Newspaper; Dead But Not Buried

Breaking Bad Season 6 Spoiler: I know, there won’t be another season of Breaking Bad, but that doesn’t stop Breaking Bad from making headlines.

And I want there to be another season watching Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul transform on the AMC series ''Breaking Bad.'' Cranston won so many Emmys for Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series that he had to have his name withdrawn at the Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles last year.

But now it’s the Breaking Bad fans that are making the headlines. Fans that were mourning the loss of “Breaking Bad" and its main character Walter White, the chemistry-teacher-turned-meth-kingpin, took out an obituary for Walter White on Friday with in an Albuquerque newspaper.

The Breaking Bad Obit was put up by members the Facebook "Unofficial Breaking Bad Fan Tour" page along with David Layman, a local high school science teacher, who bought up advertising space in the Albuquerque Journal. Layman was in the pilot episode of Breaking Bad. The ad ran Friday on page A4.

The Breaking Bad obit read: "White, Walter aka 'Heisenberg,' 52, of Albuquerque, died Sunday after a long battle with lung cancer, and a gunshot wound. He will be greatly missed."

The obituary urged readers to donate to local drug abuse prevention programs.

Layman told The Albuquerque Journal, "Putting the obit in the paper was fitting, because the series was based in Albuquerque and it provides some of us some closure."

Breaking Bad ended last Sunday. It told the story of the transformation of Walter White. White went from high school chemistry teacher fighting cancer diagnosis to Heisenburg, the head of a methamphetamine empire. Breaking Bad won the Emmy for best drama series last month.

Breaking Bad showed Walter White finishing all family business before the police finally caught up with him. It pulled in 10.3 million viewers. A record for the series.
