The official Minecraft Xbox One release date will be scheduled soon.

It seems that the Xbox One version of Mojang's open-world sandbox game is now close to completion as the Xbox head recently shared an update regarding Minecraft Xbox 360 release date.

A post on GameSpot noted that Microsoft and Mojang are now near to finalizing a Minecraft Xbox One release date, citing a Twitter posted by Phil Spencer.

The tweet revealed that Microsoft is already working with Mojang on the Minecraft Xbox One release date. Check out Spencer's post below:

Aside from this update on Minecraft Xbox One release date, the Xbox head also revealed another detail about the soon-to-be-available console version of the game.

As posted on Examiner, Spencer previously shared that "players will able to import their save files from the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft to the Xbox One edition." With this feature, the gamers will still be able to continue playing using the same Minecraft world.

Minecraft: Xbox One Edition was originally expected as a launch title for Microsoft's new console but 4J Studios, the company responsible for porting the open-world sandbox game to old and new generation of consoles decided to concentrate on the game's PlayStation 3 edition.

Because of this, Minecraft Xbox One release, as well as the PS4 version were delayed.

Moreover, in addition to this update regarding Minecraft Xbox One release date, latest rounds of report about the version of the game cites Walmart's product listing for the game. The listing suggest that Minecraft Xbox One release date is happening on December 2014.
