Junichi Masuda Confirmed For E3 2014: Pokemon Omega Ruby And Alpha Sapphire News Imminent For ORAS Fans

As Pokemon fans impatiently wait for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire updates, it seems the 2014 E3 will definitely give them what they want.

On his official Twitter page, Pokemon director Junichi Masuda confirmed that he will be attending E3 this year, and this is most likely due to the announcement of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

So far, news on Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire have been limited.

Recently, Japanese variety show "Get TV" revealed the first official footage of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. However, the clip turned out to be nothing more than brief animations of legendary Pokemon Groudon and Kyogre.

Both the CoroCoro leak and "Get TV" sneak peek emphasized how both Kyogre and Groudon look different than their original forms, indicating either a new evolution or additional Mega Evolutions.

Either way, expectations are high for the Hoenn remakes, and fans not only seem to want an updated version of the original Nintendo games, but more Mega Evolutions, and perhaps new Pokemon like Volcanion or Hoopa.

Stay tuned for more Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire news.
