Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Release Date Tipped To Fall During IFA In Berlin, Android Phablet To Be Paired With Gear 3

Samsung has been working double time when it comes to releasing devices mainly because its competitors are doing the same thing. And according to a report, the Korean tech giant may be launching its Galaxy Note 4 bundled with yet another edition of the Galaxy Gear.

According to TrustedReviews, several sources in Korea are claiming that Samsung will pair its upcoming Galaxy Note 4 phablet with the Galaxy Gear 3 and would launch during its press event at the IFA in Berlin in September.

"Samsung is working on the next generation of the Samsung Gear 2, and it will be sold in a bundle package with the upcoming Galaxy Note 4," according to the insiders from the report.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 launching at the IFA is certainly not a surprise as previous versions of the device also made their debuts in the Berlin event. However, it would be a little confusing why Samsung is already developing and would soon announce a new version of the Galaxy Gear.

If the rumor is true, then Samsung's wearable Android device lineup would already have four versions just in a year. The original Galaxy Gear launched last September while the Gear 2 and Gear Neo were announced at the MWC event in Barcelona in February.

Daetoo Securities analyst Nam Dae-jongHana added that "Samsung is trying to shorten the release cycle since other rivals, including Apple and LG Electronics, are expected to roll out their own smartwatches."

On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is slated to be a monster of an Android phone. Rumored specs of the upcoming handset include a 5.7 or 5.9-inch display with QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution, 3GB of RAM, the latest Snapdragon 805 chipset, and a 20MP primary shooter at the back.

The report says the Note 4 would come with the Gear 3 in a single package. Let us just wait and see.
