Upcoming Huawei Phones 2014: Leaked Image Of New Smartphone Looks Stunning, Mobile Maker Working On High-End Android Flagship As Well

Yes, that phone you are seeing is made by Huawei.

Dubbed as simply the 'Honor, the alleged image of the new smartphone is certainly a looker and we can only imagine how much better it would look in the flesh.

The alleged press render is actually a midrange device and not the new Huawei flagship as you may have expected. We'll bring you more details about this cool-looking smartphone in the coming weeks.

In another report, a leaked image of another Huawei smartphone was posted on Chinese microblogging platform Weibo.

As you can see from the image, the upcoming Huawei smartphone is pretty thin and looks good too. There's a slight thickness at the other side of the device and we still cannot confirm if it is the top or bottom part. However, judging by previous smartphones, the thicker part could be the top.

The smartphone has a nice black front, while the back part looks like it is predominantly white.

Dubbed simply as Mulan, the rumored Android handset packs some pretty solid specs. In the report, the handset boasts a 1080p screen, Hisilicon Kirin 920 chipset with a 1.3GHz octa-core CPU, a decent Mali-T624 GPU and 3GB of RAM for superior multi-tasking capabilities.

At the back lies a 13MP primary camera while there is a 5MP shooter in front for selfies and video calls. The Huawei Mulan runs on Android 4.4 Kit Kat out of the box and has a 16GB bult in memory.

Interestingly, the report shows that the upcoming Android phone beats all of the top Android flagships including the HTC One M8, Samsung Galaxy S5 and the Sony Xperia Z2 is AnTuTu's benchmark. That's pretty impressive considering that this could still be the prototype of the device.

Knowing Huawei, the Chinese manufacturer should also be able to give a reasonable price tag for the Mulan, which makes it even more enticing for budget and even power users.
