30 Rock cast Tracy Morgan is reportedly in critical condition following a six-car accident in New Jersey. The 45-year-old former "Saturday Night Live" star was riding in a limo bus when the fatal accident happened in Mercer County, Sgt. Gregory Williams of the New Jersey State Police said.

Among the six-car vehicle involved in the accident, the limo bus was the only one that overturned at the New Jersey Turnpike in Robbinson, Williams said.

"The limo bus is the only vehicle that overturned," Williams said. "Looks like one of the tractor-trailers may have rear-ended that limo bus, but that's preliminary at this time."

Williams said he does not believe alcohol played a role in the accident, but that is under investigation.

The limo bus, two tractor-trailers and an SUV were involved in the accident the New Jersey State Police added.

Unfortunately, one person was killed and seven others were hospitalized with injuries, authorities said. The fatality may have been another passenger in the limo bus, Williams added.

The person who was killed in the car crash was identified as James McNair known in the comedy world as Jimmy Mack. He is among the passengers of the bus limo and also known as a close friend of Morgan.

Peter Haigney of the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, claimed that four patients are being treated in the hospital. Three are in critical condition and one is in fair condition.

However, the hospital spokesperson refused to decline nor confirm that the name Tracy Morgan is the actor due to privacy laws. State police did confirm that it was the actor through CNN.

A statement this morning from Morgan's reps: "Tracy remains in critical condition at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital. He sustained these injuries in an accident that occurred early this morning as one of several passengers in a chauffeured SUV returning from a tour date in Delaware. His family is now with him and he is receiving excellent care. We don't anticipate much of a change in his condition today but will provide a further update once more information becomes available."

Dover Downs Hotel and Casino in Dover, Delaware confirmed that the "30 Rock" cast Tracy Morgan performed on Friday night at the venue.
