In case you are particularly interested in upcoming Samsung phones in 2014, then you may want to check this one with a pinch of salt.

According to a new report, the fabled Galaxy F, which is a premium version of the Samsung Galaxy S5, appeared in a couple of alleged live images which look actually legit. In the image above, the back of the device is a gorgeous brushed metal cover, though for all we know it could just be plastic painted with metal. 

In the report by GSM Arena, a source sent the images to the tech website, though the latter is unable to determine the authenticity of the images. However, in case it is fake, it sure is well made. 

This image does not only show the alleged 'Galaxy F' branding but also the 'powered by Android' portion which has recently been required for all upcoming Android phones in the market. Still for all we know, it could just be a custom splash image or just an image done by a very good Photoshop artist.

Still, we are hoping for the best as this Samsung smartphone could be what we have been waiting for after all these years.

Since the smartphone revolution began, a lot of Android fans have been asking for a metal-clad Samsung device, which has been said to be the missing piece in order to develop a truly premium smartphone. 

Unfortunately, time and again the Korean manufacturer has chosen polycarbonate plastic for its devices. 

In reports a couple of weeks ago, the alleged premium version of the Galaxy S5, also known as the S5 Prime appeared leaked documents from Korea which means the new Android handset could be hitting the market sooner rather than later.
