If Apple will maintain its two-week release pattern for the test firmware of its mobile operating system, the iOS 8 beta 3 download release date might already be set for this Tuesday.  

However, according to the recent iOS 8 beta download release date rumors, the new test firmware will not be available until next week.

Based on launch schedule of older iOS beta versions, Apple provides a new test firmware exactly after every two weeks of the previous release. For instance, the iOS 6 beta 1 arrived on June 11, Monday. Exactly two weeks after, June 25, Monday, the iOS 6 beta 2 was made available for the developers.

For the iOS 8, the beta 2 download became available two weeks after the arrival of the first beta version.

However, it seems that Apple will be navigating away from its usual release pattern since the iOS 8 beta 3 download release date is rumored to be set for July 8 and not for this coming Tuesday. Accordingly, this update about the iOS beta 3 download release date came from "trusted sources," as cited on BGR.com.  

The iOS 8 beta 3 download will be accessible for the members of the Apple Developer Center for free. However, to be a member, developers are required to pay the annual fee of $99. Come the iOS 8 beta 3 download release date, developers can install it without any costs on compatible iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad models.

Although the beta versions of the iOS 8 are recommended only for developers to use on test devices, there are also Apple users who install the beta firmware on their personal devices. Users should know that aside from enhancement, each beta might also bring in potential bugs which might cause trouble to their iOS devices.

The iOS 8 beta 2 brought in Podcast to Apple devices as a built-in app. Also, a new QuickType keyword was launched for the iPad. No reports have been made yet regarding the features and changes to expect once the iOS 8 beta 3 arrives.

The final and official version of iOS 8 is expected to arrive this Fall 2014.
