The official US release date for "A Letter To Momo" full movie is set for this month!

According to a report on Anime News Network,  "A Letter To Momo" full movie release in New York City is scheduled for Wednesday, July 23, at the IFC Center.

Moreover, the nationwide release dates for "A Letter To Momo" full movie will happen next month. And in anticipation to the theatrical release of "A Letter To Momo," an official US release poster has been released.

The film's world premiere happened on September 11 at the Toronto International Film Festival. It was released in Japanese theaters on April 21, 2012.

A Letter To Momo is an award-winning film directed by Hiroyuki Okiura from the animation studio Production Studio. The company also worked on popular classics such as "Patlabor" and "Ghost in the Shell." Accordingly, A Letter To Momo was 7 years in the making.

"The last time Momo saw her father they had a fight - and now all she has left to remember him by is an incomplete letter, a blank piece of paper penned with the words "Dear Momo" but nothing more. Moving with her mother to the remote Japanese island of Shio, Momo soon discovers three yokai living in her attic, a trio of mischievous spirit creatures that only she can see and who create mayhem in the tiny seaside community as she tries desperately to keep them hidden. But these funny monsters have a serious side and may hold the key to helping Momo discover what her father had been trying to tell her."
