In case you are a fan of HTC phones and you want your device to stand out, then you may want to check out this pink HTC Desire 816, which has been surfaced online. 

According to a report by GSM Arena, the big midranger, as well as two other HTC handsets were launched yesterday in Hong Kong. During the event, the three handsets posed for the camera as they officially enter Hong Kong's mobile market. 

So what are we expecting from the pink Desire 816? Aside from the different paintjob, the specs are the same to the international version of the device. 

In case you are wondering about this phone's specs, the HTC smartphone packs a huge 5.5-inch display but only boasting an HD (1280 x 720) resolution due to its midrange status. The Android phone runs on a quad-core Cortex A7 CPU clocked at 1.6GHz, a Snapdragon 400 chipset, Adreno 305 GPU and 1.5GB of RAM. 

Other specs of the phone include a 13-megapixel camera at the back with LED flash, while a 5MP shooter graces the front which is perfect for selfies and video calls. The Desire 816 packs an 8GB of built in memory with a microSD card slot that can support up to 128GB of storage.

The usual connectivity options are present such as Bluetooth, GLONASS, Wi-Fi and even LTE. There is an optional dual-SIM variant of the phone, though we are not yet sure if the Hong Kong version would get it. 

Finally, Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat is running under the head with Sense 6.0 UI on top. The phone is powered by a 2,600mAh battery, which is unfortunately non-removable. 

During its official launch, a lot of people commended HTC for building a quality smartphone for such an affordable price. As for the pink Desire 816 and its siblings, pricing details are not available yet.
