New Nokia Phones 2014: The Lumia 635 Will Hit T-Mobile On July 21, Gets Price Cut For Pre-Orders, Bundled With Portable Battery And Car Charger

In spite the acquisition of Microsoft earlier this year, there are still a bunch of new Nokia phones for 2014 - and the count has not stopped yet.

However, we will soon witness a new Windows handset wherein Microsoft and Nokia have joined forces to develop.

But for now, we just have to be content on what the market offers now. In case you want to try out the new Windows Phone 8.1 version of Microsoft's mobile platform, but you are afraid of getting burned afterwards, you may consider investing a smaller amount of money.

The Nokia lumia 635 will definitely fit the bill.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the WP 8.1-powered device will launch in the US through online retailer Home Shopping Network, and would come locked in for T-Mobile subscribers.

And because it is Independence Day, the retailer offers the Lumia 635 at a lower price of only $119.95. In addition to the smartphone, you also get a 2,000mAh portable battery that comes in three colors, as well as a car charger cable. At below $120, this deal is pretty spot on.

If you are looking for the a great way to begin your Windows Phone experience, the Lmia 635 is a good choice. The phone packs a 4.5-inch IPS display with 854 x 480 resolution, a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.2GHz, Snapdragon 400 chipset, and 8GB of internal memory.

One downside of the device is the dismal 512MB RAM, though for Windows Phones, RAM is not as important as in Android so still expect smooth transitions and fluid animations.

At the back of the device there is a 5MP primary camera for stills and HD recording at 30fps. Unfortunately, there is no secondary/front camera.

The Nokia Lumia 635 is definitely a steal in the $120 price range, and bundled with a portable charger and additional charging cable, it is certainly a must-have.
