Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson wedding took place on July 5 at San Ysidro Ranch in santa Barbara, California. The romantic affair with over 250 guests was held in a dainty rose garden.

The 33-year-old songstress did not wear a traditional white gown and instead opted for a champagne and gold strapless gown by Caroline Herrera. The renowned bridal designer said that she envisioned Simpson to look like a "beautiful golden girl."

"We are overwhelmed with complete happiness and love having made our eternal commitment. To say 'I do' in front of family, friends and, most importantly, our children has been the happiest moment of our lives," read the couple's joint statement.

Present in Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson's wedding were their children who played pivotal roles in the ceremony. Two-year-old Maxwell walked down the aisle as her parents' flower girl while her brother Ace, 13 months, served as the ceremony's ring bearer. Ashlee Simpson's son with Peter Wentz, Bronx, also served as the escort of his flower girl cousin.

Prior to Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson's wedding, the couple hosted a pre-nuptials barbeque just in time for the Fourth of July holiday.
"We're having a real Americana 4th of July party. It's very down home. But it's not a T-shirt and jeans Americana. Because Eric's from Boston, it's more khakis and white shirts. Very Kennedy," previously said wedding planner Mindy Weiss to People.

The wedding is both the second marriage for Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson. The singer-turned-designer was married to Nick Lachey from 2002-2006 while the NFL athlete had a five-year marriage with stylist Keri Johnson. Their divorce has been finalized in 2010 - the same year he met Simpson.
