Justin Bieber Tweets #RIPAlicia After Fan Passes Away Because Of Car Crash; Beliebers Thank NY Fan For Helping Others Meet Canadian Crooner

What was supposed to be a festive holiday turned out to be a heartbreaking day for Alicia Tamboia's family after losing her to a multi-vehicular car accident on July 4. Justin Bieber's 24-year-old fan was pronounced dead on the spot.

Justin Bieber's fans, who call themselves the "Beliebers," initiated the hashtag #RIPAlicia to remember the New York resident. Thousands of fans, even the ones who have not met Tamboia, shared their tribute. Some also uploaded photos of Tamboia and Bieber during several meet and greets.

The 'One Less Lonely Girl' hit maker noticed the trending hashtag and tweeted, "#RIPAlicia." Apart from constantly being present in Bieber's show, Tamboia reportedly helped many fans to meet the Canadian crooner.

Poughkeepsie Journal reports that Tamboia was riding a Volkswagen being driven by her friend when it hit another vehicle on Interstate 90 near Albany. The Volkswagen then struck a tractor trailer which divided the car in two. Twenty-three-year-old passenger Cody Veverka was likewise killed. The vehicles' drivers, on the other hand, were taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital after sustaining non-life threatening injuries.

When 6-year-old Bieber fan Avalanna Routh passed away in September 2012 because of a rare brain cancer, the Beliebers likewise mourned her death. The on-off beau of Selena Gomez also expressed his sadness for the "worst news ever."

Some of the Beliebers' #RIPAlicia posts are:

"Earth lost a fighter, but heaven gained an angel. She meant so much to the Belieber family. Fly high! #RIPAlicia"

"Not only did she achieve her dream of meeting Justin but she also helped many others achieve their dream."
