Kobe Bryant News: One Major Reason Why Teaming Up With Melo Will Be Most Difficult Change In Kobe's Career?

Kobe Bryant news is looming that Melo plans to join the Lakers, teaming up to build one of the best tandems in the entire NBA this season.

If Pau Gasol decides to re-sign with Los Angeles, then that's the next Big Three in the Eastern Conference.

Unfortunately, that should be easier said than done.

While Anthony (small forward) and the Black Mamba (shooting guard) do not share the same spot, they are both dominant ball handlers.

This means, either Kobe or Melo would need to give way in order for the other to have his way with the ball. As for Melo, that would be much more difficult to do, considering he just put off career highs in points in the past couple of seasons.

On the other hand, Kobe has become a mature player through the years, both mentally and chronologically and he may be the one to give way in this one. However, that also means he would soon be turning over the franchise to its next franchise player in Melo.

Granted the Lakers make it to the Conference Finals or even the NBA Finals, Bryant would soon have to pass on the torch to a younger Anthony, which should lead Los Angeles to a better future in the next five to seven years, provided that the management is able to get enough supporting cast or an additional star or two that would complement Anthony's play.

For sure, Kobe, Steve Nash and Pau Gasol could be out of the picture by then. Hopefully, the newly picked Julius Randle would be able to live up to expectations and play on a higher level than 'ordinary rookies' and 'sophomores'.

LeBron was initially part of the picture, but James, Kobe and Melo teaming up in one super team is too good to come true in this lifetime.
