LG G Watch Release Date: LG Smartwatch And G3 Flagship Hitting AT&T Stores On July 11

Announced a couple of weeks ago, LG's new smartwatch is finally arriving in the US. If you are one of the thousands of Android wearable fans who are waiting for the LG G Watch release date, then your wait would soon be over.

According to a report by GSM Arena, while the LG smartwatch has already launched in some parts of the globe, it will officially arrive in the US via AT&T on July 11, probably the same time the LG G3 would hit the market as well.

In the report, the G Watch will cost $229, and pre-orders can be made as early as tomorrow. In case you haven't heard, the G Watch is LG's first take on the wearable competition and it is up against a number of OEMs already such as Sony, Samsung and even Motorola.

The LG G Watch is also the first ever smartwatch that follows Google's Android Wear program for Android wearables. We certainly can't wait to see how it differs from other smartwatches which are currently available in the market.

If you want to get both the LG G3 and the G Watch, you may want to do so at the same time as you can save as much as 50% of the G Watch's price if you get both devices in a bundle. However, the promo does not only with the LG watch, but with other smartphone accessories as well such as G3 Quick Circle folio case, Tone Ultra stereo Bluetooth headset, and others.

LG has been doing great in the Android platform, in spite playing second fiddle to Samsung in US sales. It gets even more disappointing for LG saleswise for the rest of the world, as it ranks way below Samsung, due to the immense number of Android OEMs developing cheap but decent handsets.

Still, we cannot discount the efforts of the Korean brand, which continues to provide cutting edge technology, high quality and durable devices.
