Dreamcatcher released an official statement on Twitter, saying, "We have been informed by the 170 Russell (the venue for the event) that on account of the extensive destruction by a fire that broke out tonight, the show can no longer be hosted. Hence, it is with a heavy heart that we announce the cancellation of 'Dreamcatcher Concert: Invitation from Nightmare City in Melbourne.'" They added, "While members were so thrilled to perform and meet InSomnias in Melbourne, they are really saddened by this unexpected news."
