Also, they are recognized for their vocals of the 1980s-1990s K-Pop group, a concept that is hugely opposite to most K-Pop groups.The girl group made their debut on January 24, 2018, with the single "I Wanna Be a Celeb," with its theme inspired by a well-known Japanese dance group, Tomioka Dance Club (TDC). The music video for this track is under the direction of Super Junior's Shindong. Ten months after, on November 19, CELEB FIVE made their first comeback with a disco track entitled "Shutter" that has a 1980s synth-pop, featuring South Korean actor Lee Deok Hwa.Aside from performing on music shows, the group also appeared on variety programs like MBC's "Infinite Challenge," JTBC's "Knowing Brothers," and MBC's "Weekly Idol."
