'International Singer' Psy(35) received a U.S. special visa and is going to resume his activities overseas. 

According to YG Entertainment on Saturday, to continue Psy's activities in the U.S., the embassy gave an O visa. 

The O visa is a special visa for artists, scientists, sports and people who have special talents. 

The famous soccer player David Beckham and and golfer Annika Sorenstam also received this visa. 

In order to receive this visa, one would have to obtain a Grammy award, Academy award, or be extremely successful in their field. 

Psy receiving this visa showed that he has been acknowledged in the U.S. This may have been due to his debut in America and his activities. After Psy performs in Australia on the 15th, he is to promote in America starting from 18th. 

Star News stated, "Psy's side applied for a visa to continue his performances, but the U.S. government was being thoughtful. It is a rare case that this process was this speedy, many foreign artists work with visas, so this is not a special case."
