Girl group Girls Day member Jihae has withdrawn from the group.

Today, Dream Tea Entertainment stated, "Jihae has withdrawn from Girls Day for personal reasons. The remaining 4 members will continue to perform as a group."

They continued, "Jihae had been contemplating a long time and has decided to fully focus on her major in school. She will still work with us in the future and see where she will go."

Girls Day debuted in 2010 as a 5 member group. With Jihae's withdrawal, Girls Day will continue as a 4 member drop and release their new album on October 26.

The entertainment also stated, "We are truly sorry to the fans, but we hope that everyone can continue to support Jihae in her other endeavors."
