The late actress Choi Jin Shil's ex-husband Jo Sung Min was reported to have committed suicide.

Jo Sung Min was found hanging in his girlfriend's apartment early morning on January 6, local time. The police are still investigating the exact cause of his death.

Since his ex-wife's death Jo Sung Min has been suffering from hate comments from internet users since back in 2008. He was an excellent baseball player and decided to quit after suffering from various problems through injury.

Jo Sung Min and Choi Jin Shil are survived by their two children, a daughter and son.
