New "Batman V Superman" synopsis teases Lex Luthor's evil plan against DC's two titans.

Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor wasn't mentioned in the movie's first official synopsis but the San Diego Comic-Con 2015 trailer provided hits about his role in the movie's narrative.

Now, new information about Superman's arch nemesis has been revealed by United Kingdom-based company Odeon Cinemas, revealing that he will be manipulating both the titular heroes for "his own twisted ends."

Below is the new synopsis for Zack Snyder's "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" courtesy of Odeon's website.

"At long last, see Batman and Superman square off against each other in 'Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice', an epic superhero showdown which will change both their lives forever," reads the plot summary.

"Clark Kent doesn't trust Gotham's mysterious masked vigilante. Bruce Wayne doesn't trust the alien who nearly destroyed Metropolis. And Lex Luthor, who hates Superman more than anyone, is manipulating both of them for his own twisted ends."

"Choose your side: the Man of Steel or the Dark Knight? Learn the answer to the age-old question - who would win? - in 'Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice'."

Last month, Fortune published an interview with Luthor where he teased about a technology that will "change the world forever."

"Handouts don't change the world. The true gift of LexCorp is our products. We are on the cusp of unveiling a technology that will change the world forever," he said.

"This is a product that will protect you, and everyone, from threats you don't even know about yet. I don't want to scare anybody... much. But there are a lot of threats out there, and they're here today." 

The movie will feature Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jeremy Irons as Alfred J. Pennyworth, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White and Diane Lane as Martha Kent.

"Batman V Superman" releases on March 25, 2016.
