Hulu released its first teaser trailer for 11.22.63, based on Stephen King's best-seller.
"I'm going to tell you something that's gonna seem crazy. You go through there, it's 1960."
Okay, an old friend gives you a time traveling device on his almost birthday and tells you to go back in history and stop the Kennedy assassination. He gives you all the tools and all his notes and as you see how it's aged the guy you get the idea that maybe it's not such a good idea. It's a worse idea if it came from Stephen King, who can find nightmares within nightmares. The past does not like being changed.
Hulu released the first official teaser trailer for J.J. Abrams's 11.22.63. The movie is based on Stephen King's novel and stars James Franco as high school English Teacher Jake Epping. The teacher gets sent back in time to to 1960 to stop Lee Harvey Oswald from assassinating President John F. Kennedy.
Epping falls in love with the simple world of the early sixties and the people in it. Even the milk smells different.
The nine-hour limited event series also stars Chris Cooper, Josh Duhamel, T.R. Knight, Cherry Jones, Sarah Gadon, Lucy Fry, George MacKay and Daniel Webber.
The first two hours will be directed by Oscar-winning Director Kevin Macdonald, who made The Last King of Scotland, State of Play and Black Sea.
11.22.63 premieres Presidents Day, Feb. 15, 2016, on Hulu.
