The buzz about the upcoming series, "A Series of Unfortunate Events" on netflix, has been increasing over the past weeks, due to the rumors about the alleged cast members.
As reported previously, the novel-turned movie has been confirmed to be made into a series as well. Auhor Daniel Handler has released a statement confirming the news.
"After years of providing top-quality entertainment on demand, Netflix is risking its reputation and its success by associating itself with my dismaying and upsetting books," he said, as qupted from Engadget.
After his announcement, numerous websites came up with their own dream casting for the the said series and Movie Pilot became one of the top possible list of castings, according to fans.
In the list derived from the website, a possible cast member for "A Series of Unfortunae Events" Netflix edition, is "Game of Thrones" actress, Sophie Turner. fans have been agreeing with the possible casting as they are saying that she is perfect for the role of Klaus Baudelaire's twin sister, Violet Baudelaire. While it has yet to be confirmed, the hype for the possible casting of the actress has been increasing.
As to who can possibly play the role of Klaus Baudelaire, fans are still unsure of. But they are saying that the fake casting made by the source cited above is a good one, and that they would not be surprised if the producers of the upcoming series decide on choosing actors and actresses who are close to the ones picked in the article, if not themselves.
As one can recall, Jim Carrey played the role of Count Olaf, Klaus and Violet's arch-enemy, who is portrayed in the book and in the movie to be the film's antagonist who does not stop for anything when it comes to bringing disaster into the lives of the Baudelaire siblings just so he can inherit the riches their parents left them with.
