'Mafia 3' Release Date Confirmed In 2016? Fans To See The Most Interactive World Soon

2K games sure is taking their time before they unveil the much anticipated "Mafia 3" release date. The third installment promises to be bigger and a lot more interactive compared to its predecessor, and fans will see it through the eyes of new protagonist, Lincoln Clay.

According to director Hayden Blackman, they have turned the "Mafia 3" world to a massive, interactive map where NPCs will have their own lives to live.

"We've invested a lot into a system we call our World Interaction System. Cops who were harassing an interracial couple, that could have happened anywhere in the world with a few exceptions" Blackman referring to some details player might see while strolling.

"We can decide which districts that'll happen in, the time of day and weather, and then it can randomly happen. The same thing can happen with a woman who is flirting with Lincoln or playing guitar"

Also, he confirmed that the Playboy magazine collectibles will be back and that would be one thing fans will sure be on the look-out for.

For fans who are wondering when will "Mafia 3" release date be announced, there is a bit of certainty that it might arrive in 2016. Here's a press release by 2K games.

"Mafia III will release in calendar 2016 during Take-Two Interactive's fiscal year 2017. No official release date has been announced at this time.
